chris

Chris is a Senior Software Engineer. He received his first computer at 12; not that he was an autodidactic child prodigy, but he started with BASIC and ended up coding video games. Skip a few years, and Chris was tending bar in Memphis while dabbling in college. He received an art school scholarship and grant money–which he used to buy a computer, instead. With this newly found freedom, Chris worked as a computer tech. He built and ran a BBS (Bulletin Board System), an old-school kind of message board. Just ask Al Gore. As technology and fashion progressed, Chris cut his mullet and helped build an ISP well before having his own internet account. In the days before large corporations ruled The Interwebz, Chris was THE MAN. You might think at this point in the plot a cyborg assassin would have been sent to correct history, but Chris’ drive and ardor for computers landed him as a Firefly Partner.
